The UAE girls and women’s golf teams achieved outstanding results at the team and individual levels in the Arab Championship hosted by Tunisia from September 21 to 30.

The girls’ team, under 16, won 4 medals, two gold, one silver, and one bronze, and the women’s team won 3 medals, two silver and one bronze.

The girls’ team, made up of Sarah Abu Bakr, Asia Slim, and Anka Mathieu, dominated the titles, taking first place and first gold in the teams with a total of 407 strokes.

The player, Anka Mateo, won the second gold medal with a total of 202 strokes in the singles competitions, her colleague Asia Salim won the silver medal with a total of 209 strokes, and Sarah Abu Bakr won the medal bronze with a total of 211 strokes.
