Abu Dhabi: Condolences poured in on the death of Hamda Taryam, a well-known drag racer and social media star in the UAE. 24-year-old Hamda died on Saturday morning. It was earlier announced that the funeral will be held in Sharjah after Isha prayers on Saturday night.
Many people in the UAE and abroad came to know about Hamda Taryam through the popular show ‘The Fastest’ on Netflix. Her family members said, “It is with great sadness that we inform you of Hamda’s demise on Saturday morning.” Funeral services will be held Saturday night. Men and women will then be given separate opportunities to express their condolences in the Emirati way.
Besides being a bike racer, Hamda was an entrepreneur and philanthropist who used his earnings to establish a school and hospital in the African country of Uganda. Hamda had said in an earlier interview, “When your children, most of whom are orphans, came to school for the first time in their lives, I cried. This school is their only hope. I am the only family member they have. Their love is so pure.”
Meanwhile, no other information about Hamda Taryam’s death has been released by her family. Hamda, who was active on social media, posted new posts last day. She even shared about the food she ate in the morning on ShareChat and last posted on Friday at 5.58 pm. It said he was driving to Abu Dhabi.
