An official and investment delegation from the UAE, headed by the Minister of Economy, Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, will arrive this week in Hong Kong, to participate in the eighth session of the “Belt and Road Initiative” summit, to enhance joint economic and trade cooperation at the levels of the government and private sectors, and to build trade and development partnerships in the region. New economy, technology and entrepreneurship sectors, which serve the competitiveness and sustainability of the economies of both sides. The UAE delegation includes more than 40 people from government agencies and institutions and the private sector, at a time when the visit will witness a review of a group of pioneering Emirati projects, in addition to holding a group of meetings between investors and businessmen in the UAE and Hong Kong.
The Minister of Economy will participate in a session entitled “Unlocking Potential in the Middle East Region,” in the presence of a group of ministers and officials. The session will shed light on the promising investment and commercial opportunities in the UAE and the Middle East region, and learn about the advantages and capabilities of the UAE’s geographical location. He will also participate in a number of Session sessions and meetings.
Al Marri will also hold a number of bilateral meetings with a group of ministers, officials and major companies in Hong Kong, with the aim of continuing to develop economic and trade relations between the two sides to new levels of growth and prosperity, and exploring more promising investment opportunities.
