UAE and Israel Sign Agreement to Enhance Mutual Investment and Cooperation in Manufacturing

The Emirates News Agency (WAM) stated that the UAE and Israel are looking forward to enhancing mutual investment and cooperation in the field of manufacturing within the framework of an agreement signed by the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zones (RAKEZ) with the Association of Israeli Manufacturers, on Wednesday.

WAM said that the memorandum of understanding calls for cooperation between the two sides to create investment opportunities and expand the scope of industrial partnership operations.

The UAE and Israel agreed to normalize relations in August 2020, and each of them ratified the agreement in October of the same year.

Rami Jallad, CEO of RAKEZ, said, “It is necessary to move forward towards enhancing the level of cooperation between the UAE and Israel.”

The Israel Manufacturers Association includes companies in sectors such as high technology, textiles, fashion, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, environment, food, metals, electricity, infrastructure and consumer products.
