UAE and Bahrain Strengthen Diplomatic Cooperation: Ministry of Foreign Affairs Meeting

ABU DHABI, 31st August / WAM / Embodying the close historical and fraternal ties and distinguished strategic cooperation relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Bahrain, a meeting of the Working Group for Diplomatic Cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries was held today in Abu Dhabi, within the framework of the outcomes of the tenth session of the UAE-Bahrain Joint Committee held on the 23rd. October 2022 in Manama.
On the UAE side, His Excellency Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State, chaired the meeting, while the Bahraini side was chaired by His Excellency Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs.
His Excellency Al Marar welcomed His Excellency Dr. Al Khalifa and members of the Bahraini delegation participating in the working group meeting for diplomatic cooperation between the two countries, praising the close bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Bahrain, which derive their depth from the brotherly relations between the two countries, as the UAE is linked to the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, “may God protect them,” have distinguished and solid historical relations.
During the meeting, His Excellency stressed the permanent keenness of the two countries to strengthen these close relations and the importance of continuing consultations within the framework of joint coordination for the benefit of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.
