Kinshasa, September 15, 2017 – His Excellency Anwar Othman Barot Al-Baroudi presented his credentials to His Excellency Felix Tshisekedi, President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, as Ambassador of the UAE to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, during the official ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in the capital, Kinshasa.
His Excellency conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him,” and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State. Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Presidential Office, to His Excellency and their wishes for his country and people further progress and prosperity.
For his part, His Excellency the President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo entrusted His Excellency the Ambassador with his greetings to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him,” and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Presidential Office, and his wishes to the leadership, government and people of the UAE for further development and growth.
His Excellency wished His Excellency the Ambassador success in his work tasks, and the development and strengthening of bilateral relations in various fields that bring the two countries together, stressing his country’s readiness to provide all possible support to facilitate his tasks.
For his part, His Excellency expressed his pride in representing the UAE in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and his keenness to strengthen and activate bilateral relations in various fields, thus contributing to strengthening the bonds of friendship between the two countries.
During the meeting, areas of cooperation between the UAE and the Democratic Republic of the Congo were reviewed, and ways to develop them were discussed to achieve the interests and aspirations of the two friendly countries and peoples.
