U2 broke the record for the highest-grossing tour – 2024-04-08 09:02:17

Irish rock band U2’s ongoing world tour has broken the Rolling Stones’ record and is now the highest-grossing in history, the BBC reported.

With their concert yesterday in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the rockers broke the world record of $558 million in tour revenue. U2’s “360° Tour” began in July 2009 in Barcelona and will conclude on July 30, 2011 in Moncton, Canada. Until then, the Irish will perform more than 20 concerts.
