U19 Bundesliga player Jonas Knuth moves to FC Gütersloh

U19 Bundesliga player Jonas Knuth moves to FC Gütersloh

Young, very talented and from the region: FC Gütersloh has wrapped up its second new signing. Midfielder Jonas Knuth is moving from U19 Bundesliga club VfL Osnabrück to Heidewald. The 19-year-old Versmolder signed a two-year contract with FCG.

“Jonas is a young up-and-coming player who definitely still has to find himself in the senior class. He completed a trial training session with us and was absolutely convincing. Jonas has a good first contact, a good passing game and is very focused. And physically he brings a lot with him for a player who comes from the youth. ”For Hesse it is a very sensible transfer for both sides.

In the season that was canceled, Jonas Knuth played four appearances for VfL Osnabrück in the U19 Bundesliga. With the 19-year-old Versmolder, FC Gütersloh now has 19 players under contract. There are also Serdar Erdogmus, Dimitrios Nemtsis and Nick Flock, Pascal Widdecke, Nico Bartling, Ilias Illig, Lars Beuckmann, Markus Baum, Patrick Richter, Jannik Enning, Tim Manstein, Samy Benmbarek, Andre Kording, Jarno Peters, Berkay Yilmaz, Jannik Schröder, Eric Yahkem and Marcel Lücke.
