Amid ongoing tensions between the U.S. and China, the U.S. government is taking a series of reconciliation gestures ahead of the U.S. Commerce Secretary’s visit to China next week.

Chinese companies were excluded from the list of preliminary sanctions, and the White House said it did not want China’s economy to slow down.

The White House announced plans for a visit to China by Secretary of State in June and Secretary of Treasury in July, followed by Secretary of Commerce Gina Lamondo next week.

He said he would visit Beijing and Shanghai for four days from the 27th to explain the recently announced US investment restrictions in China and convey concerns about China’s new anti-espionage law.

The White House explained that this visit was not to achieve tangible results, but to manage competition between the US and China.

At the same time, the White House said that it believes that a stable Chinese economy is good for the world economy as long as it adheres to international norms.

He also emphasized that he would convey a clear opposition to the view of some in China that the United States wants a slowdown in China’s economy.

The Ministry of Commerce removed 27 Chinese companies from the list of potential export controls in line with Secretary Lamondo’s announcement of plans to visit China.

It was decided to remove battery producers and sensor manufacturers that were in the stage before going on the blacklist from the list.

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce welcomed the US government’s move, saying it was in the common interests of both sides.

However, the White House made it clear that it would say something during the visit of the Commerce Secretary, saying that China lacks transparency in disclosing various information, including the youth unemployment rate.
