“U.S. Crude Inventories Rise to 467.6 Million Barrels, Gasoline Inventories Drop by 1.4 Million Barrels: EIA Report”

(CercleFinance.com) – Data released by the U.S. Energy Information Agency (EIA) shows crude inventories reached 467.6 million barrels during the week of May 8 in the United States , signaling an increase in inventories of 5 million barrels compared to the previous week.

For their part, inventories of distilled products – including heating oil – increased very slightly (+0.1 million barrels) while gasoline inventories fell by 1.4 million barrels, still compared to the previous week.

The EIA states that the refineries operated at 92% of their operational capacity during this same week, with an average production of 9.5 million barrels/day.
