The next person to contact is Arnold Schiefer. When Norbert Hofer became Minister of Infrastructure, he removed ex-SPÖ State Secretary Brigitte Ederer from the ÖBB Supervisory Board and appointed Arnold Schiefer.
Schiefer comes from Gmunden and was section head of the Transport Ministry under FP Transport Minister Mathias Reichhold. Between 2005 and 2013, Schiefer was a director of ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG and a member of the board of Rail Cargo Austria AG.
