U-23 Indonesian National Team scored a goal against Chinese Taipei U-23 in 2024 U-23 Asian Cup Qualification. Garuda Muda won big 9-0.

In the match at Manahan Stadium, Solo, Saturday (9/9) evening WIB, Indonesia opened the scoring when the match had only been running for two minutes. Marselino Ferdinan broke through Chinese Taipei’s goal with a free kick.
Ramadhan Sananta doubled Indonesia’s lead four minutes later. After being able to get past the Chinese Taipei player’s challenge, Sananta dribbled the ball into the penalty box and finished with a right foot kick.
Indonesia added a goal in the 19th minute through Rafael Struick. The collaboration between Witan Sulaeman was then completed by Rafael.
Witan Sulaeman’s goal in the 30th minute gave Indonesia a 4-0 lead. Receiving a cross from Ivar Jenner, Witan finished with a horizontal kick with his right foot.
Rio Fahmi scored Indonesia’s fifth goal in this match in the 40th minute. Indonesia closed the first half with a 5-0 lead.
Elkan Baggott increased Indonesia’s lead in the 56th minute. Elkan headed the ball from a corner kick to break into the opponent’s goal.
Only two minutes later, Marselino scored another goal for Indonesia. Moving from the left side of the penalty box, Marselino outwits the opposing defender before firing a shot at goal.
Winning by seven goals did not make Indonesia slack off. Hokky Carakan scored Indonesia’s eighth goal in the 79th minute with a shot from close range.
Arhan Pratama scored Indonesia’s ninth goal in this match in the 85th minute. Arhan received a breakthrough pass and passed the Chinese Taipei goalkeeper’s challenge to find the empty goal.
Indonesia received a penalty in the 89th minute after Rafael Struick was brought down in the forbidden box. Rafael himself took the penalty, but his shot was too weak and was stopped by the Taiwanese goalkeeper. Rafael had time to break through Taiwan’s goal after taking advantage of a rebound ball, but the referee blew the whistle first to signal a violation.
