“U-22 Indonesian National Team Leads Group A in SEA Games 2023 Despite Coach Indra Sjafri’s Dissatisfaction”

National team U-22 originally SEA Games 2023 neatly, namely winning twice, scoring eight goals, and conceding none. Coach Indra Sjafri not yet satisfied.

U-22 Indonesian National Team stand out in Group A SEA Games 2023. In the first match, Garuda Muda won 3-0 over the Philippines and scored a 5-0 goal over Myanmar.

The results make National team U-22 are ranked first while Group A with six points the result of two wins. Cambodia is in second place with four points from one win and one draw.

Garuda Muda keeps their hopes up to qualify for the semifinals. Furthermore, they will face Timor Leste on Sunday (7/5) evening WIB and Cambodia in the final group match.

Satisfied coach Indra Sjafri see performance National team U-22 so far?

“To be honest, our coaching team are not satisfied with the players’ performance,” he replied in a statement after the Indonesia vs Myanmar match on Thursday (4/5) evening WIB.

“There are still many tactical mistakes including individuals such as making decisions,” he continued.

Indra Sjafri will continue to rotate players in order to find the best squad for the semifinal and final matches. Also, Indra Sjafri doesn’t care who will face Garuda Muda in the next phase.

“We don’t really think about who will qualify later. Whoever the opponent is, just welcome, we are ready to beat,” he concluded.
