“U-22 Indonesian National Team Celebrates SEA Games 2023 Victory with Nasi Padang Lunch in Cambodia, Says Coach Indra Sjafri”

Coach U-22 Indonesian National Team Indra Sjafri gave a ‘gift’ of eating Nasi Padang to Rizky Ridho and friends as lunch, Wednesday (17/5), after winning a gold medal SEA Games 2023 by beating Thailand 5-2.

Indra Sjafri did not provide a special program for the U-22 Indonesian National Team players after today. The man who also served as the Technical Director of PSSI gave a little freedom to the players.

“There is no celebration yet, so today we are recovering, resting, waiting to return to Jakarta. Tomorrow, if I’m not mistaken. Today we also give the children a little enjoyment, and if they want to walk, go ahead,” said Indra Sjafri to CNNIndonesia.com in Phnom Penh, Hotel.

Furthermore, Indra Sjafri granted the request of the U-22 Indonesian National Team players to eat Nasi Padang as the lunch menu today.

“And also from our food, I consulted with the doctor earlier, is it permissible for food from outside the hotel, if it’s okay once in a while,” said Indra Sjafri.

“Here is Nasi Padang from [Kamboja] here, really good. The reason for Nasi Padang? Yes, the request of the children,” continued the 60-year-old coach.

The U-22 Indonesian National Team squad is scheduled to return to Jakarta on Thursday (18/5). The gold medal won by the Garuda Muda team brought Indonesia’s gold medal tally at the 2023 SEA Games to 87 pieces.

Apart from that, Pratama Arhan and friends also succeeded in ending the 32-year wait for the Indonesian National Team to win a gold medal at the 2023 SEA Games.
