Tyson will meet three-year-old Roy Jones junior at the Frontline Battle in California on September 12.

For Tyson, this will be the first fight since 2005, but his records on social networks show that the American boxer is in good physical shape. Jones, on the other hand, put an end to his career less than three years ago.

Both boxers will have to undergo special medical examinations performed on athletes over the age of 40.

During his career, Tyson participated in 58 professional battles, in which he won 50 victories, 44 of them with a knockout, and suffered six losses. In the last duel of his career, he resigned in the fight against Kevin Macbright.

Jones, on the other hand, climbed the ring 75 times, celebrated 66 wins, 47 of them with a knockout, and suffered nine losses. He ended his career with four victories in a row, beating Scottish Sigmon in the last battle.

Tyson became the first boxer in history to unite the World Boxing Council (WBC), World Boxing Association (WBA) and the International Boxing Federation (IBF) Heavyweight Champion Belts, successfully defending them between 1987 and 1990.

After making concessions to Baster Douglas, he lost them, but regained the WBC and WBA belts for a while in the 1990s. He last fought for his belts in 2002, when he lost to Lenox Lewis.

Meanwhile, Jones was the champion in four weight categories, once at the WBA heavyweight champion belt. Six years ago, he took part in an evening of fighting in Ķīpsala, defeating British boxer Cortney Freja with a technical knockout.
