According to the website of the Central Meteorological Observatory, due to the combined influence of the westerly trough, typhoon “Kanu” and its residual circulation, from the 12th to the 13th, central and northern Heilongjiang, central and eastern Jilin, and most of Liaoning Heavy to heavy rains, among which, parts of central and eastern Liaoning have heavy rains. In the next three days, there will still be heavy rainfall in southern Jiangnan, South China, and Yunnan, with local heavy rain or heavy rain. From the 12th to the 13th, there will be light to moderate rain and local heavy rain in northern Xinjiang.
Typhoon “Kanu” continues to affect the Northeast
The center of this year’s No. 6 typhoon “Kanu” (tropical storm level) landed on the coast of Zhuanghe City, Liaoning Province around 23:00 on the 11th. When it landed, it weakened into a tropical depression. The maximum wind force near the center was 6 (12 meters/ seconds), the minimum air pressure at the center is 1000 hPa, and the wind force has weakened further, making it difficult to determine its circulation center. The Central Meteorological Observatory stopped numbering it at 02:00 on the 12th. Affected by the westerly trough, typhoon “Kanu” and its residual circulation, from the 12th to the 13th, there were heavy to heavy rains in central and northern Heilongjiang, central and eastern Jilin, and most of Liaoning. Among them, some areas in central and eastern Liaoning experienced heavy rain .
Strong rainfall in South China, Yunnan and other places
In the next three days, there will still be heavy rainfall in southern Jiangnan, South China, and Yunnan, with local heavy rain or heavy rain. From the 12th to the 13th, there will be light to moderate rain and local heavy rain in northern Xinjiang.

Specific domestic forecast for the next three days
From 08:00 on August 12 to 08:00 on August 13, central and northern Heilongjiang, central Jilin, most of Liaoning, eastern Tianjin, eastern Hebei, southern Henan, northern Shandong, northern Anhui, northern Jiangsu, central and western Hubei, Chongqing, and southwestern Sichuan , central and western Yunnan, southeastern Guangxi, southern and eastern Guangdong, southwestern Fujian, southern Jiangxi, Hainan Island and other places had heavy to heavy rains. Among them, parts of southeastern Liaoning, southern Guangxi coastal areas, and southwestern Guangdong had heavy rains (100-160mm). There are 4 to 5 winds in parts of central Inner Mongolia, northern and eastern Hebei, and Liaodong Peninsula (see Figure 3). There are 6-8 winds and gusts of 9 in the Bohai Sea, the Bohai Strait, and the northern waters of the Yellow Sea.

From 08:00 on August 13 to 08:00 on August 14, central Heilongjiang, central and eastern Jilin, central and eastern Liaoning, southeastern Chongqing, central and northern Guizhou, southern Hubei, northern Jiangnan, western and southern Yunnan, eastern Guangxi, southwestern Guangxi, Tibet There were moderate to heavy rains in parts of central China and southwestern Qinghai. Among them, there were heavy rains in parts of northern Heilongjiang, southeastern Jilin, and eastern Liaoning, and local heavy rains (100-120 mm). There are 4-6 winds in parts of the southern Xinjiang Basin, central Inner Mongolia, Liaodong Peninsula, Shandong Peninsula and other places (see Figure 4).

From 08:00 on August 14 to 08:00 on August 15, parts of Xinjiang along the Tianshan Mountains, southern Qinghai, eastern Heilongjiang, eastern Jilin, eastern Zhejiang, southern Hunan, southern Jiangxi, western Fujian, western and southern Yunnan, and southern Guangxi Moderate to heavy rain. There are 4-6 winds in parts of the southern Xinjiang Basin, central Inner Mongolia, and Liaodong Peninsula (see Figure 5).
