Typhoon Doxuri made landfall in China’s Fujian Province, bringing torrential rains and winds of nearly 110 mph. And the storm created huge waves and sent them to the shore. The hurricane is expected to continue moving north to become a tropical storm in the next few hours. Earlier, the typhoon caused major flooding in Taiwan. In the Philippines, at least 39 people were killed, including dozens on board a crowded boat that capsized due to strong winds.
