Types of Sensors in Everyday Life and Their Explanations

Sensor Magnet

Magnetic sensors are devices that will be affected by magnetic fields and will provide changes in conditions at the output. Like a two-state switch (on / off) which is moved by the presence of a magnetic field around it. Usually this sensor is packaged in a packaging that is empty and free from dust, moisture, smoke or vapor.

Gyroscope Sensor

Gyroscope sensor is a sensor that is used to sense and determine orientation with the help of Earth’s gravity. The main difference between Accelerometer Sensor and Gyroscope is that the Gyroscope can sense rotations where the accelerometer cannot.

Sensor Efek Hall

Hall effect sensors are sensors that can convert magnetic information into electrical signals for further processing of electronic circuits. This hall effect sensor is often used as a sensor to detect proximity (proximity), detect position (positioning), detect speed (speed), detect directional movement (directional) and detect electric current (current sensing).

Infrared Sensor

Various infrared sensors use infrared as a medium for data communication between the receiver and transmitter. The system will work if the infrared ray emitted is obstructed by an object which causes the infrared ray not to be detected by the receiver.
