Tya Zebrowski Makes History as European QS 3000 Champion

Young Tya Zebrowski continues to write surfing history, at just 13 years old. After her victory on August 11th at the QS in Newqay, England, she is now the youngest surfer to win a QS 3000 in Europe.

This is not the young Tahitian’s first success. Tya Zebrowski was crowned vice-champion of the ISA world in U18 last May in El Salvador. She also recently won the U16 title at the EuroSurf junior.

And this Saturday, August 31, twenty days after her victory at the QS in Newquay, England, the surfing nugget continues to make history by winning the QS 3000 in Europe, becoming the youngest surfer to accomplish this feat.

In a post on its Facebook page, the French Surfing Federation praised his career: “At only 13 years old, [elle] won this Saturday in Spain in the final of the Pantin Classic Galicia Pro, dominating most of the best European surfers.”
