They killed two men in two different cases
Sofia police have detained two young men for serious crimes. This was announced by the press center of the Ministry of Interior. A 19-year-old girl and a 20-year-old boy were detained for up to 72 hours.
For the first of the cases, a signal was received on September 11, at about 1.00 am, by phone 112 – an employee in a 24-hour shop in the Druzhba district reported a helpless man. Police and ambulance teams were immediately dispatched. The identity of the deceased, a 29-year-old, was established on the spot. During the police check it was established that he fell to the ground after being hit on the head. A 20-year-old man was detained in the case.
Later that day, at about 10:10 p.m., a 39-year-old woman reported a dead man to the police in an apartment in the Vrabnitsa district. She told law enforcement that a 19-year-old neighbor sought help because her friend was injured. Police and ambulance crews were immediately sent to the apartment. The death of a 46-year-old man was ascertained on the spot, and an inspection revealed that he had died as a result of multiple stab wounds. After procedural and investigative actions, the 19-year-old was detained.
Pre-trial proceedings have been instituted in both cases. After a report of the collected materials in the Sofia City Prosecutor’s Office, the two detainees were brought in as defendants.
