Two Young Men Rescue Police Officer and Woman While Attacking …

An injured police officer is said to have been rescued by two Austrians with Turkish roots. Turkey calls them ‘heroes’.

A video is circulating on Twitter in which Mikail Ozen, an Austrian-Turkish young man, says that he wanted to have a coffee with his friend in the center of Vienna before the catering industry in Austria would also close its doors for a lockdown.

“We ended up in the middle of the shooting,” he says into the camera. ‘We heard shots, there was blood and there were injuries. We saw an elderly lady lying on the floor. We took her to a safe place. We also saw a seriously injured officer. We went to get him and took him to the ambulance. ”

Ozen, a personal trainer and mixed martial arts fighter, knew he was in danger because the culprit was still shooting. When they got the woman to safety, the killer pointed his gun at them and shot his friend Recep Tayyip Gultekin, who was hit. “I was slightly injured in my leg,” said Gultekin Reuters. “But after taking the woman to a restaurant and the policeman to an ambulance, we got in my friend’s car and drove to the police station to tell us what we had seen.”

‘Born in Austria’

At the end of his video he says: ‘I am a Muslim of Turkish descent. I live in Austria, I was born here and I learned my profession here. Should such an attack happen again today, I would do what I did again. We live in Austria, we are on the side of Austria. ‘
