On the 12th, in Gimcheon Branch of the Daegu District Court in Gimcheon-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, a mother A, who is being accused of neglecting her daughter and killing her, was interrogated (warrant substantive examination) before arrest. A’s 2-year-old daughter was found dead in a villa in Sangmosagok-dong, Gumi-si, Gyeongbuk, at 3 pm on the 10th.

The owner of the villa asked Mr. A’s parents, “We couldn’t contact Mr. A, so please leave the house.” The parents found the decaying body of his granddaughter in his daughter’s house and reported it to the police. The police are investigating that Mr. A neglected the child and killed him.

Mr. A got into a convoy after receiving a warrant for 30 minutes from 11:00 am on the same day. The reporter asked Mr. A about the reason for neglecting the child, but Mr. A left without answering.

The police found that Mr. A’s husband left the house a long time ago, and Mr. A moved from the villa where his child died six months ago. It was investigated that Mr. A also knew that the child died.

The police will request an autopsy to the National Institute of Scientific Investigation to determine the exact cause of death and abuse.
