In Suriname, a two-year-old girl was abused in Paramaribo last week. The child lives with her grandparents. The grandmother reported to the police on Friday.
The grandmother stated that she had taken the baby to the doctor because she had pain in her genitals. The grandmother suspected the pain was from skin irritation. The pain continued and the grandmother thought it strange.
The grandmother then asked the child if someone had done something to her. The grandmother then mentioned some names of close persons. When she called the grandfather’s name, the two-year-old reacted affirmatively. The police are investigating.
