The driver provoked an accident in which a little girl died. Four people, including two children, were taken to the hospital.
On the Kiev-Chop highway near the village of Solonka in the Lviv region, there was a triple accident, as a result of which a two-year-old girl died. The culprit of the accident is detained informs press service of the regional police.
“On July 19, at about 17.30, the police received a message that an accident involving three vehicles occurred on the Kiev-Chop highway … The driver of an Audi, a 37-year-old Lviv resident, overtaking in the wrong place, collided with the DAF road train, as a result of which the truck drove into the oncoming lane, where the driver collided with a Daewoo car, “the message says.
As a result of a car collision, a two-year-old passenger Daewoo died at the scene.
Two more children, boys aged four and 12, who were in the same car, as well as two more passengers with injuries, were hospitalized.
The Audi driver was detained. Law enforcers establish the circumstances of the incident. The issue of opening criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 286 (violation of traffic safety rules or the operation of vehicles by persons driving vehicles, resulting in the death of the victim) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is being resolved.
