Two miners who were isolated in a burial incident were safely rescued at around 11:03 pm on the 4th, 10 days later, and taken by ambulance.
The incident occurred around 6:00 pm on the 26th of last month, when a large amount of earth and sand fell from the first vertical shaft of the zinc mine in Bonghwa, Gyeongsangbuk-do.
In the incident, two people, including Mr. Park, were isolated 190 meters below the first vertical tunnel.
According to the rescue authorities, at the time of the funeral accident, the two were protected from the wind with plastic in a circular space about 30 meters away from the workplace and maintained their body temperature by lighting a bonfire with dry wood.
