The attacks took place in Radetzkystrasse and Hedwiggasse. According to the police, it is believed to be the same perpetrator.

Two women were sexually assaulted by an unknown man on Wednesday evening around 10 p.m. in stairwells on Radetzkystrasse in Vienna-Landstrasse and Hedwiggasse in Vienna-Leopoldstadt. The perpetrator grabbed their faces and chests, pushed one woman to the ground and tried to undress her. The suspect is around 40 years old and between 170 and 180 centimeters tall, the Vienna State Police Directorate announced on Thursday.
The alleged perpetrator followed the first woman into a stairwell on Radetzkystrasse at around 10 p.m., where he wordlessly grabbed her first in the face, then on her chest and waist. After the victim resisted, the suspect fled.
The second incident occurred about half an hour later in Hedwiggasse in Vienna-Leopoldstadt, where the same man probably followed a woman into the stairwell and touched her face without saying a word. This time a struggle ensued, during which the perpetrator pushed the woman to the ground and tried to pull down her underwear. The perpetrator fled again when the woman defended herself.
Both victims described the alleged perpetrator as around 40 years old, between 170 and 180 centimeters tall and of medium build. The perpetrator was also said to have been wearing a green or greenish T-shirt with short, beige trousers and was unshaven. (APA)
