Two women from the village of Keur Layène Socé, in the commune of Toubacouta, were killed on Friday around 4 p.m. by lightning, APS learned.
The victims aged 25 and 30, belonging to the same family, were in their orchard.
They were struck down as they sought refuge under a tree during a rain.
