Police said the executive was called to a dispute settlement that afternoon where they met a 28-year-old Somali who claimed to have killed two women in an apartment. The officers found the two victims (35 and 37 years old) around 4 p.m.
Alcoholization prevented questioning
According to investigators, the man is said to be severely alcoholic. The suspect was likely to have been so impaired that an interrogation was initially not possible. The police were able to pass on little information to the media.
According to neighbors, one of the victims is the Somali’s ex-wife, with whom she is said to have a three-and-a-half-year-old daughter. During the act, however, she was not at home, but in kindergarten. The girl was placed in the care of the youth welfare office.
Second killed apparently new girlfriend
The second person killed is said to be the new girlfriend of the alleged perpetrator, who was often to eat and pray in the apartment in Favoriten, reported neighbors. According to Oe24.at, one woman was stabbed to death, the other was killed with a kitchen appliance.
According to investigators, the Somali was entitled to asylum. There have already been two charges against him, one of them for a sexual offense. In both cases, asylum proceedings were initiated, but these were discontinued when the proceedings because of the complaints were also discontinued.
