The Civil Guard of Malpica de Tajo (Toledo) has carried out an operation against the cultivation of marijuana in the Toledo town of Erustes that has allowed the arrest of two women and seize 790 plants along with all the material used for its cultivation, such as lighting, air conditioning and fertilization.
The BLASA operation began when, during a citizen security service, agents from the Malpica de Tajo Post warned on March 17, a strong smell of marijuana on a street in the town of Erustes, as reported by the Civil Guard in a press release.
After carrying out checks in the surroundings, a house was located in which the existence of a illegal connection to public lighting. Likewise, from outside the building, air extractors could be heard, an appliance widely used in indoor plantations, to maintain the optimum humidity and temperature conditions for the cultivation of this plant.
With all the data obtained, the Court of First Instance and Instruction No. 4 of Torrijos (Toledo) granted the entry permit and housing registrationThe agents proceeded to arrest two women without records, aged 27 and 28, of Venezuelan and Colombian nationality, respectively, for a crime against public health and another for electric power fraud.
