OSTHEIM V. D. RHÖNLKR. RHÖN-GRABFELD – On Thursday afternoon, a 39-year-old e-scooter driver was killed by the police subjected to a general traffic control. During the interview, the woman admitted that she had previously consumed marijuana in the form of a joint. Although her intake of Cannabis was prescribed by a doctor, the consumption was not carried out properly. A preliminary drug test confirmed the suspicion, after which a blood sample was ordered. During the check, the officers found a container containing a tobacco-marijuana mixture in the woman’s jacket pocket. After the measures were completed, she was released.
MELLRICHSTADT, LKR. RHÖN-GRABFELD – On Thursday evening, around 9:00 p.m., the police checked a Hyundai between Mellrichstadt and Unterwaldbehrungen. During the check, the officers noticed the smell of alcohol from the 31-year-old driver. There was also a drunken beer bottle in the center console of the vehicle. A breath alcohol test showed a value of 0.4 per mille. In addition, driving tests and other abnormalities showed evidence of possible drug use, which was confirmed by a positive drug test. In this case, too, a blood sample was taken. The woman was prevented from continuing her journey and she now has to answer for drunk driving as a result of alcohol and drug consumption.
