Two medal winners for voluntary blood donors. The Châtillon-sur-Loire/Briare Association for Voluntary Blood Donation held its general meeting on Friday evening at the town hall in the presence of Deputy Catherine Bourgoin.
The departmental president of Loiret, Étienne Hernandez, presented on behalf of the French Blood Donation Federation (FFDSB), the Knight’s Cross of Blood Merit to President Annie Fortin, and to Jean-Luc Tiercelin, for their dedication to within the association. In 2022, the total of the four collections from Châtillon and the two from Briare amounted to 273 samples, including 23 new donors.
The secretary, Lucette Rat, recalled the success of the hike organized with the help of the Randonneurs ligériens on November 27, 2022, which will be renewed on Sunday November 26, 2023.
For the current year, five collections are planned in Châtillon. The next one will be Friday, March 31. Two others will be in Briare, on Monday April 24 and Friday September 8.
