CAMPOLONGO TAPOGLIANO (Udine) – Another road tragedy around 11pm yesterday, Wednesday 2 November, on the A4, towards Trieste, near the municipal area of Campolongo Tapogliano, between the Palmanova and Villesse exits. Visibility is poor, because in the evening the fog has fallen in the Lower Friuli area. For causes under investigation by the agents of the Palmanova Road three cars collided. Two men aged 29 and 34 died. A third person was transported in yellow code to thehospital. A fourth person involved. The deadly carom among one BMWa Kia and an Opel Insigna.
The alarm
The operations center of the Sores sent two ambulances, one from Cervignano del Friuli and one from Palmanova, together with the Gradisca d’Isonzo automedica. The fire brigade of the Cervignano detachment was also on site, who, where having helped the health personnel, made the vehicles and the area in which the accident occurred.
Poor visibility in the area at the time of the accident, due to the fog that fell in many areas of Friuli. After the call for help, the nurses from the Sores station immediately sent the crew of two ambulances to the scene, one from Cervignano del Friuli and one from Palmanova, together with the automedics from Gradisca d’Isonzo.
The victims
The deceased are Dario Valleti 34-year-old who was behind the wheel of the BMW e Stefano Volante who would have turned 30 today. Both lived in Friuli VG: a Degree and in Ronchi dei Legionari.
