Two University Students Killed in Nottingham Attack

But before they arrived, an unknown person attacked them with a knife. Then, after about an hour, a man who was driving his car to work, two miles away, was attacked and stabbed to death, leaving his body lying in the street.

In turn, Nottingham Police said the suspect then stole the victim’s van and drove into the city centre, where he collided with three pedestrians who were standing at a bus stop on Milton Street, leaving one of them in critical condition.

The two 19-year-old victims were students at the University of Nottingham, who had just finished their first-year studies and were preparing for their summer break.

Weber, who grew up in Somerset, was a former pupil of Taunton School, where he was a talented cricketer and hockey player, according to the Telegraph.

His colleague Grace, a talented first-team hockey player from London and a former student of the independent Bancroft School, is believed to be from London.

How did the attack happen?

The first attack is believed to have occurred just after 4am as the two students, who were celebrating the end of summer, were on their way home from an event called Quids In at the Pryzm nightclub.

Barnaby and Grace were walking along Ilkeston Road, an area popular with students, when the attacker approached them, and witnesses said there may have been a brief altercation before the suspect suddenly pulled out a knife and began stabbing the two students.

For his part, one of the witnesses, who looked out his window after hearing cries for help, said he saw a man dressed entirely in black, with his hood up, wrestling with the two youths.

He added, “I saw him stab the young man first, then the woman. The stabbing was repeated four or five times. The boy collapsed in the middle of the road.
