The police have arrested two underage boys for involvement in sending a threatening email to a secondary school in Zaandam. Because of the threatening e-mail, which was discovered on Tuesday morning, three schools closed their doors for a day.
The same day, a minor boy was arrested because of the threat. He has since been released and his involvement is under investigation.
The email, which was addressed to the employees of the school, stated that someone wanted to harm the students and teachers of the school. Photos of a firearm were also attached.
The boys who have now been arrested are in restrictions, which means they can only have contact with their lawyer. Their role in the threat is being investigated by the police.
