Two truck drivers got stuck at the same time today at the Maastunnel in Rotterdam. Driver Kadir can laugh about it afterwards: “When I came out of the Maastunnel, I already saw the other truck,” he says. Rijnmond.

According to the broadcaster, the two truck drivers got stuck about ten minutes apart under the Droogleever Fortuynplein on the north side of the Maastunnel.

The VVD wants additional measures, such as height bars before entering the tunnel. More should be clear before May 1. “We are looking forward to it, because it is a common problem,” said Becker. “It not only causes damage to motorists, but also to bridges and viaducts.”
