Two Teenagers Wanted in Europe After Running Over Restaurant Owner in Austria

A 16-year-old girl and her 17-year-old passenger are wanted throughout Europe after they ran away from the bill and ran over a restaurant owner in Austria.

The prosecutor’s office in Graz in Austria announced this on Friday.

Two days before, the two teenagers ate at a restaurant in Linz in the north of Austria. They left the venue without making a move and got into an SUV. The restaurant owner, a 41-year-old woman, then stood up in front of the car.

The 16-year-old girl nevertheless stepped on the gas pedal and ran over the woman, who was seriously injured, the police said.

The car was registered to the 16-year-old’s mother, who lives in Graz, in the south-east of the country. In Austria, you can get a driving license when you are 17 years old.
