A 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man have died after they were stabbed with a knife in the suburb of Taastrup west of central Copenhagen, Danish police say.
The police received a report about the incident just before 11pm on Monday. A third person, a 17-year-old, was also stabbed. He is out of danger.
One of the two victims died on the spot, while the other victim died in hospital, said duty manager Morten Steen of the police in Copenhagen’s Vestegn early on Tuesday morning.
Steen will not say whether anyone has been arrested in the case and points out that it is too early in the investigation to determine any motive.
– Everything indicates that it is an internal incident, says the warden.
In a press release, the police are asking potential witnesses to the incident in the area of Skjeberg Allé and the City2 shopping center to come forward.
The victims’ next of kin have been informed.
