On Friday afternoon, according to witnesses, officers from the Sonneberg police found a group of young men in a parking lot in Sonneberg, who were driving around there on their mopeds. One of the men (18 years old) did not have a driver’s license and was driving an uninsured S51 moped. The man now has to answer for violating the compulsory insurance law and for driving without a license.

Another man (also 18 years old) was caught riding a so-called “pocket bike” for which there was also no insurance cover. Proceedings were also initiated against him for violating the Compulsory Insurance Act.
