NEW JERSEY – Two high school students, ages 15 and 16, were stabbed to death in Union City, New Jersey, and authorities are still on the trail of the suspects. Sadly the youngest victim passed away.
According to information from Hudson County Attorney Esther Suárez, police were notified of a stabbing in the area on Tuesday at approximately 6:24 p.m. 40th street yes Avenue New York. Upon arrival, officers found a 15-year-old, identified as Allen Flores, and an unidentified 16-year-old with stab wounds, the prosecutor said.
Flores was transported to the hospital Christ Hospital in Jersey City and was pronounced dead at about 7:08 pm. The coroner will determine the cause of his death.
Meanwhile, the other teenager is hospitalized, the report added. His condition has not been released, but he is expected to recover.
Both victims are students at Union City High School, which is located near the scene.
Now the Hudson County Attorney’s Office Homicide Unit and the Union City Police Department are investigating the incident and looking for the alleged perpetrators.
