BOGOTA – Two soccer fans died during a street fight in the Colombian city of Medellin. The incident took place after Independiente de Medellin met Atletico Nacional (3:1). AFP reported that another 14 people were injured.
According to police, the victims, aged 25 and 34, were fans of the Independiente club. Supporters of these teams attacked each other with sharp weapons and blunt objects near the stadium in Medellin. At the beginning of April, Atletico Nacional fans clashed with the police at the same stadium.

The mayor of Medellin, Daniel Quintero, who said that one from each club was dead, offered a reward of 200 million pesos (approximately 39,000 euros) for information about the suspects.
