Two of the three local academy teams won away in Hütteldorf
Two sensational victories against Rapid Vienna
–
Two of the three local academy teams surprised in their away game against the higher ranked Rapid Vienna. The under-18 team with coach Heinz Fuchsbichler celebrated their first full success after four defeats in the spring. In Hütteldorf, the country’s oldest talents won 3-2 without striker Noah Bischof. Rankweiler Thomas Baldauf scored two goals and one goal was contributed by Hannes Küng from Raggal. The under-16 team with coach Helmut Hafner was also able to cheer. FC Dornbirn player Lorenz Leopold Rusch and Wolfurt Tamar Crnkic ensured a 2-0 lead. It was only shortly before the end that Rapid shortened to 1: 2 (86th). The U-16 troop got ten points in the strong spring. Rapid Wien’s U-16s are second in the table, the success of the Ländle selection cannot be rated highly enough. The U-15 team lost 0: 5 to the third Rapid Vienna. The Pavlovsky men were unable to capitalize on their many good opportunities to make bullets. All three domestic teams are in a single-digit position in the table.
