According to a source from the local fire department, the man aged around 90 was driving the vehicle in the village and lost track.
The two occupants of the vehicle ended up suffering serious injuries, having been transported to the Hospital of Vila Real.
The alert was given a few minutes after 5 pm and the Volunteer Firefighters of Vila Flor, the Immediate Life Support Ambulance of Mirandela, and the GNR were at the scene, in a total of 13 operators and 5 vehicles.
