Two senior appointments at El Al

El Al reports on the appointments of two senior executives in the company. The long-time treasurer of the company, Yankala Shahar, was appointed to the position of CFO. Dr. Ronan Yochpaz was appointed CFO of Information Systems.

Yankla Shahar (age 60, married +3) held the position of the company’s treasurer for 17 years, which gives him a deep familiarity with El Al’s business and financial activities. Before coming to El Al, he worked as a customer relations manager for BNP Paribas, and served as CFO at Elad Group Canada.

Dr. Ronan Yokhpaz will be responsible for leading the technological transformation, developing information systems and digital infrastructure, cyber worlds, big data and the company’s future AI field. He also comes from Bank Hapoalim, where in his last position he was the Chief Development Officer in charge of building the products and services the bank’s business, including the worlds of modernization and transformation. In the past, he worked at various startup companies such as VNT Software and VeNotion technologies. Dr. Yochapaz is a graduate of M.R.M. Complex information systems throughout the IDF, and holds several degrees from the worlds of computer science (BSc), economics, business administration (MBA), and a doctoral degree in information systems (PhD) in the field of cloud worlds.
