Hansühn – On Tuesday and Wednesday the last two quarter-final matches will take place in Kreispokal Ostholstein and the teams that will accompany SG Sarau/Bosau and Eutin 08 into the semi-finals are sought.
SVG Pönitz will kick things off on Tuesday. As a league team, they are the clear favorites against A-class representative SV Hansühn. The guests should be warned, however, because Hansühn has already eliminated two higher-class teams.
On Wednesday, the duel between the old rivals TSV Pansdorf and Oldenburger SV follows. The repeat of last year’s final – which saw Oldenburg as the clear winner – concludes the quarter-finals of this season. Here too, the favorite is clear: the defending champions from Oldenburg.
The voices before the games
SV Hansühn – SVG Pönitz (Tue., 7.30 p.m.)
Christian Born (Pönitz): “The good thing is that the players can immediately get to grips with the new task. You can also overthink things. But it is much better that the team can and will show a reaction immediately on Tuesday. We will refrain from experiments. We want to get to the next round.”
TSV Pansdorf – Oldenburger SV (Wed., 7.30 p.m.)
Timo Kirstein (Pansdorf): “Of course, Oldenburg is the favorite as a team in a higher league. We are still badly hit in terms of personnel, but we want to build on our good performance at Rapid Lübeck in front of a hopefully good crowd under floodlights and fight back with everything we can.”
Pascal Diouri (Oldenburg): “We expect a highly motivated opponent in Pansdorf and will be prepared. We accept the role as favorites and look forward to the quarter-finals.”
