Three days before his meeting against US Montalbanaise in Pro D2, Colomiers must do without three players. Back from 15 days of vacation, the whole team got tested and two pro players are declared positive for Covid-19. Another player is also positive, but he evolves with the hopes.
But without this calling into question the holding of this high-intensity meeting, according to the president of Colomiers Rugby, Alain Carré. Its players travel a mere 60 kilometers, at Sapiac this Friday evening. Start of the meeting at 7:30 p.m..
This derby is always a great moment for both teams and this year in particular since the two teams follow each other in the standings: Colomiers Rugby is fifth with 41 points and US Montalbanaise is just behind, sixth with 40 points.
The benches of the infirmary on the Colomiers side are well filled: Victor Delmas, Hugo Pirlet, Jean Thomas, Romain Bézian, Romuald Séguy, Waël Ponpon, Youssef Saaidia, Aldric Lescure, Maxime Granouillet, Guillaume Tartas, Michele Campaniero and Johan Deysel will not participate at this derby.
