– On November 27 of this year, at about 02:00, during a knife fight in one of the nightclubs in the city of Aktau, the head of the local police service of the Aktau city police department, E.O., was identified, who, in an intoxicated state, used a table knife and injured a civilian Zh.E., citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan born in 1996. At the same time, the fight was provoked by E.O., who was in the company, the commander of the patrol police company of the Munaylinsky district police department N.M., who verbally insulted Zh.E. and struck the victim in the face first. As a result, the police, using their official powers, called the crew on duty, and fled from the scene of the event, says the message sent out.
The Mangistau region police department commented on the situation, confirming that a pre-trial investigation had been launched into this fact, and two employees had been fired, however, they refused to disclose the names and positions of the suspects. The department denied information that a knife was used during the fight.
– Information is being spread on social networks that two employees initiated a fight in one of the nightclubs in Aktau, during which a table knife was used. This fact was registered in the ERDR under Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. By decision of the disciplinary commission, two employees were dismissed from the internal affairs bodies. At the same time, the information that a table knife was used in the fight is not true. We clarify that for the dissemination of knowingly false information, criminal liability is provided under Article 274 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the police department reported.
A Lada.kz source in law enforcement confirmed that the suspects in the fight are the head of the local police service of the Aktau police department and the commander of the patrol police company of the Munaylinsky district police department.
– Both employees were not detained. They are under recognizance not to leave. Today, November 27, they were fired for negative reasons, said a source close to law enforcement agencies.
