The case was then investigated by the Karo Police. The victim was identified after an investigation. It is known that the victim was convicted of a drug case and has completed his sentence.
By looking at the regional locus in two districts/cities, the case was taken over by the North Sumatra Regional Police. The police got a clear location after checking with several witnesses.
“The victim was killed by a close friend at the perpetrator’s house in Pahlawan Village, East Siantar District, Pematang Siantar City,” said Sumaryono.
Inherent problems
Sumaryono said that the perpetrator is suspected to be sexually abusive. Joe and Mutiara have been dating for a month. Every time they had sex, Joe hit Pearl with a broom or his hand. Finally, Mutiara suffered severe bleeding until she died.

Sumaryono explained that Joe, who was the main perpetrator of the crime, was charged with assault causing death as regulated in Article 351 Paragraph (3) of the Criminal Code (KUHP). At the same time, the four perpetrators who disposed of the victim’s body were charged under the same article for their involvement in disposing of the victim’s body.
They saw the bodies of the murder victims, but did not report to the leadership.
The two police officers were charged with obstructing the investigation of a case by a police officer as regulated in Article 221 of the Criminal Code. juncto Article 351 Paragraph (3) of the Criminal Code.
