While the qualifiers will begin in March 2023, the newspaper The group has worked out a possible selection for the French team. We can find holders of the World Cup, such as Aurélien Tchouaméni, Théo Hernandez, Dayot Upamecano or Kylian Mbappé. But in this list we also find two players trained at FC Nantes: Alban Lafont and Randal.
Two players trained in Nantes in 2024?
The first nominated attended the September rally, but not the World Cup. If Mike Maignan appears as a potential starter for Euro 2024, Alban Lafont could be his replacement. Steve Mandanda (37) and Hugo Lloris (36) close to international retirement, the FC Nantes goalkeeper will have a card to play. For his part, Randal Kolo Muani revealed himself to the general public during the World Cup. Appearing on the pitch during the semi-final and final, the Eintracht Frankfurt striker scored many points in the eyes of Didier Deschamps and the France staff. At 24 he could be one of the strong men of the Blues at the next European Championship. This is all very hypothetical, because football moves very fast. There’s no certainty between injuries and drops in form, much less a year and a half before the competition. But one thing is for sure, these two players will be in discussions if they can perform with their respective clubs. Good news for the formation of Nantes.
