Two people were stabbed in Porsgrunn – NRK Vestfold and Telemark – Local news, TV and radio

Two boys were stabbed with a knife in Porsgrunn on Thursday evening.

The boys are said to have been attacked by a stranger, says the head of operations in the Southeast Police District, Erik Ullhaug Olsen.

– We have all the resources available in the search for the offender, says the head of operations at NRK.

The two injured were stabbed in the arm and leg and were conscious when they were taken to hospital, police say.

Research with a dog

The stabbing must have taken place outdoors in Fjordgata in Porsgrunn.

Police are working to get an overview of the sequence of events, but do not yet know what the background to the incident may have been.

Dog patrol and police helicopter are looking for the man suspected of stabbing the boys with a knife.

A patrol is in the hospital waiting to talk to the boys.

At the same time, the police have a patrol in the area that are working to determine if there have been any witnesses to the incident.

– We are working to make contact with those who have been in the area, says Olsen.

– Since an unknown author is on the run, is there any cause for concern for people traveling to the local area?

– There is nothing that indicates it at the moment. I ask people to be vigilant and to follow. Call us if they have any suggestions or information that might be useful to us, says the operations manager.
