MEXICO CITY.-Two people were shot to death in the Magic Town of tlayacapanMorelos, about 52 kilometers from Cuernavaca, reported state authorities and the National Guard.
It is a man and a woman, apparently identified as the former’s daughter.
The events were reported around 10:00 a.m. to emergency services at a car wash in the Texcalpan neighborhood.
The Prosecutor’s Office of the Eastern Region was notified to carry out the removal of the bodies and begin the pertinent investigations, while elements of the Army and the National Guard implemented a security operation in that municipality.
Just on Tuesday, in broad daylight, a woman and her minor daughter were murdered in Cuernavaca, outside the teenager’s high school, state authorities reported.
Both were attacked in their vehicle by the crew of a motorcycle on Calle de Alpes, in Colonia Miraval.
Between January and September, the entity governed by Cuauhtémoc Blanco reported a 23 percent increase in intentional homicides, going from 758 to 930 cases compared to the same period in 2022, according to figures from the National Public Security System (SNSP). .
